Is a High Frequency
man-pack transceiver.
It was developed primarily for infantry use where VHF was unsuitable.
It was also employed by the amphibious forces and special task forces.
Frequency range
2 to 8MHz in 2.5kHz channels.
RF output
0.8 watt AM 1.5 watts Phase Modulation and CW.
Master Oscillator with crystal calibrator.
AM and Phase Modulation, R/T and CW.
Range 5 miles.
One man load.
Transistorized. Station Radio A13 HP High Power.
Is principally a Station Radio A13 plus an RF amplifier.
Frequency range
2 to 8 MHz.
RF output AM 8watts PM and CW 16watts.
AM and PM R/T and CW. Range 16 miles.
Two or three man
